Seit 5 Jahren präsentieren die Road Devils Europe nun zusammen mit dem Magazin Smokin Shutdown wohl eines der bekanntesten Rod und Kustom Events in Europa - die Road Devils Hot Rod and Art Show. Veranstaltungen wie die Stray Cats oder Social Distortion Shows in Berlin, zum Beispiel, änderten den Blick auf Hot Rodding in Deutschland und Europa maßgeblich.
Da wir ein europäischer Club sind, haben wir dieses Jahr beschlossen, unsere Show etwas mehr ins Herz von Europa zu verlagern: Also wird die Rod and Kustom Show 2007 in Weil am Rhein nahe Basel (deutsche Seite) stattfinden.

Wie seit unserer ersten Show Sitte, werden wir auch dieses Mal US-Cars willkommen heißen, die durch wirklich deutliche Umbauten zum Kustom oder Hot Rod geworden sind. Wenn ihr sowas euer Eigen nennt: Glückwunsch, ihr könnt die Show umsonst besuchen.
Das Wichtigste jedoch ist dabei nicht einfach irgendwelchen Trends oder Strömungen, die grad IN sind zu folgen, sondern etwas ganz Eigenes, etwas Einzigartiges hervorzubringen.

ROD and KUSTOM ist nicht wirklich als Massenveranstaltung geplant, sondern als ein Meeting von und für Hot Rod Enthusiasten. Es ist weder ein Rockkonzert noch eine Tuning Show. Auf´s Wesentliche beschränken: Qualität geht über Quantität.

Einige Künstler, die ebenfalls schon im Smokin Shutdown Magazin besprochen wurden, werden zugegen sein, die euch einen Eindruck vermitteln wollen von dem, was gerade in der Kustom Kulture Szene so abgeht. Außerdem sind ausgesuchte Händler aus ganz Europa vertreten, die euch Dinge anbieten können, die man noch nicht mal auf Ebay so ohne Weiteres bekommt.

Lasst uns ein cooles Spätsommer-Wochenende im Herzen von Europa zusammen verbringen.

Road Devils Europe



For 5 years now the Road Devils Europe have been the hosts, in collaboration with Smokin Shutdown Magazine, of one of the most famous Rod and Kustom event in Europe, the Road Devils Hot Rod and Art Show. Events like the Stray Cats and the Social Distortion shows in Berlin, for example, have changed the way Hot Rodding is seen in Europe.
Since we are a European club, this year we decided to get a little bit closer to the heart of Europe: So the 2007 ROD AND KUSTOM SHOW will be at Weil am Rhein (Germany) close to Basel.

Like it has been from our first show on, we again will welcome cars built in the US, heavily modified as a Kustom or Hot Rod. If you call something like that your own: congratulations, you are entitled to visit the show for free.
The most important thing is: do it your very own way, don´t follow trends or fashion.

ROD and KUSTOM is probably not a meeting for the masses. This is a meeting of Hot Rod and Kustom enthusiasts. It´s neither a rock concert nor a tuning show. Keep it real: quality over quantity.

Several artists who have been featured in Smokin Shutdown will be at the show to give you an impression of the the state of the art in Kustom Kulture, and selected dealers from all over Europe will be there offering stuff you´ll hardly get on ebay.

Lets have a cool and wonderful end of the Summer weekend in the center of Europe.
